3. Should You Remove the Google Ads Tag?

The Google Ads Tag (using GT-WR93SDNT) is a "Google Tag" type in GTM. It loads the Google tag infrastructure and sends a configuration call to your Google Ads account. However, this is redundant when you're adding a Conversion Linker and Remarketing tag, because those tags will handle the actual functional work (cookie storage and audience building). The Google Ads Google Tag on its own doesn't do conversion tracking or remarketing — it just initializes the connection. And since your GA4 Google Tag already loads the shared Google tag infrastructure on every page, the Ads one is an unnecessary extra initialization.

Additionally, the GT-WR93SDNT tag only has "Jobs on Demand" (Google Ads) as a destination — it doesn't carry GA4 data. So it's purely duplicating infrastructure that's already loaded by your GA4 tag.

The Conversion Linker + Remarketing tags will directly handle what you need from Google Ads, without needing a separate Google Tag initialization.

My recommendation: Don't publish it. Remove it from the workspace (or leave it paused/deleted).
